Who We Are
Kentucky Odyssey of the Mind (KYOOTM) is a chartered association of Odyssey of the Mind and is currently administered by Kentucky Odyssey of the Mind, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Odyssey of the Mind is an international extra-curricular educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities and 21st century skills development for students from kindergarten through college. Working in small teams, students apply their creativity to solve carefully designed problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They bring their solutions to competitions on the regional, state, and world level. Teams from all over the globe participate in the program.

Our Mission
The mission of the Kentucky Odyssey of the Mind State Board of Directors is to teach team cooperation and sportsmanship while developing problem-solving skills through creative and original thinking.
Our Purpose
KYOOTM is an all volunteer organization that strives to provide students of all ages with the opportunity to think divergently and creatively solve problems that range from building mechanical devices, vehicles, and structures to presenting their own interpretation of the arts. KYOOTM administers the Odyssey of the Mind organization in Kentucky by promoting and organizing the program, supporting participants, and conducting workshops, trainings, and tounaments - all to provide Kentucky students an opportunity to practice and develop teamwork, creative problem solving, and life skills.
